When is my payment due?
At the time of registration. Your place in a class is not secured until payment is received. Classes at the Creative Alliance can be paid for through their online ticketing service. All other classes and workshops can be paid for online through Paypal. We also accept checks made out to Baltimore Improv Group.
Do I need to purchase anything for the course?
Nope, just bring yourself.
What should I wear for the class?
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in. Same goes for the shoes.
What if I have to miss a class?
We strongly encourage students to not miss any classes because the course is comprehensive from week to week and also because a strong and consistent group dynamic is essential to good improvisation. But scheduling conflicts can happen, and we understand that.
If you know you’ll have to miss one class, go ahead and sign up. Missing one class, while not ideal, will not prevent you from getting the most out of your class. If you know you will have to miss 2 or more classes, we strongly recommend you wait for the next session to sign up.
What if I have to drop out of a class?
While it is rare, if a student’s schedule forces them to drop out of a class, that student can receive a pro-rated refund of tuition. The student must officially tell their instructor that they are dropping out of the class, and will then receive the pro-rated refund based on number of classes left in the seven week session.
