Service Description

Use your improv skills to create a character, then write for them! You’ve played hilarious characters in scenes, now let’s make something a little more permanent. This class will give participants the tools to write specific, committed character monologues, then costume and perform them. Participants will leave the 7-week session with a character monologue to be performed on stage, online or wherever there’s a captive audience! Schedule: x 7 Sundays 2:00pm-4:00pm, 9/29/24 through 11/10/24 (Showcase November 17th at 6:00 PM) Experience Level: Level 101 Graduate and above Facilitator: Hannah Alden Jeffrey Cost: $265 BIO Hannah Alden Jeffrey is a Baltimore-based comedian and producer with glasses. She is trained in improv and sketch comedy with the Groundlings and Pack Theater in LA and the Baltimore Improv Group. Hannah’s sold out solo performance “Hannah LIVE: A One-Han Show” garnered rave reviews from both her parents AND her fourth grade teacher.
