This seven-week course will teach you how to take your ideas off the page and onto the stage. You will be instructed on joke writing and development, delivery, stage presence, finding your comedic voice, and how to book shows, all ending in a student showcase at a real comedy club that you can invite your friends and family to! Previous students of this workshop have gone on to great success in comedy like TikTok star and comedian Scott Seiss, LA comedian Kiki Andersen and many others! A great class for beginners and those who have already started their comedic journey. Michael Furr is a stand up comedian, producer and host, best known as the booking manager and creative director for the Lou Costello Room comedy club in Baltimore. He has opened for the likes of Nikki Glaser, Jim Norton, Jim Norton, Nate Bergatze, Seaton Smith and many others. He has headlined and featured at clubs and festivals across the country and recently released his second hour long comedy special to much acclaim.
